ATD SCC is delighted to present:
Talent Management in a Turbulent World
With the Distinguished, Award-Winning
Rhodes Scholar:

Roopa Unnikrishnan
Head of Strategy, Harman International
At a time when a 280-character tweet can change your bottom line, and a natural disaster can have a disastrous impact on your supply chain, how is a talent planner supposed to plan? How does a talent professional create a sustainable and change ready organization that can thrive in the “Whitewater of World-Wide Turbulence?”
Roopa Unnikrishnan, Harman Strategy Executive and Author of The Career Catapult, will discuss the realities of translating strategy into operational plans. Roopa will outline why workforce and operational planning must occur simultaneously to fully integrate both in the core business strategy.
Roopa will explore these topics in the workshop:
- Why the success of the business relies on the depth of strategic workforce planning
- How to shift workforce planning from an independent annual process to an every-day behavior
- How to follow and analyze trends to drive talent development
- How to foster cross-functional, higher-level strategic discussions to influence core decisions
- How to use insights to drive skill development critical for organization success
You will leave with a framework for how to create a consistent partnership with your strategy partner to make an integrated approach to business goals and talent planning.
