Communities of Practice (CoP)

ATD’s Communities of Practice consist of smaller groups of practitioners who seek to focus on specific areas within the training and development field. Each community of practice is led by a community leader whose in-depth knowledge will ensure that the content, offerings, and resources keep practitioners at the forefront of the industry.

The benefits of joining a CoP are:

  • Find relevant information on topics you’re passionate about.
  • Stay current with new trends and research in specific training and development disciplines.
  • Connect with learning professionals with the same interests as you and share best practices.
  • Develop additional marketing tools that will enhance your brand to create business development opportunities.
We currently have one active CoP: (select the link below for more information)
  • Coaching – led by Adelma Hand and Daniel Pineda
Meetings are open to members and non-members at no cost. You don’t need to be a member of ATD to join a CoP, but we encourage you to join the chapter for all the additional benefits.
