Coaching Secrets:  How to be an Exceptional Coach

October 4th, 2018 - 9:30 am -11:00 am

 Norwalk Public Library, 2nd floor

1 Belden Avenue, Norwalk CT

PARKING: There is a small lot behind the building (first driveway on Mott, on right as you enter from corner of Belden and Mott.) There is also a parking garage across the street and around the corner, across from the Mall, behind the post office.

Our group's mission is to share best practices and explore trends and new approaches in the field of coaching within an organizational setting.

Our coaching community is filled with highly successful coaches who are experts in their specific field of practice, as well as coaches who are newer to the profession and bring fresh perspectives. The October 4th meeting will be a unique opportunity to learn from each other. We will share our "secrets", our proven approaches and models that make us successful as well as ideas to overcome challenges many of us face. We will rotate through four groups:

  • Attracting Clients - the never-ending job of business development. How are you building your client base? What works and what do you avoid? Any clever marketing approaches?
  • Working with Difficult Clients- It happens, we encounter clients who seem unmotivated, resistant or stubborn. How do you handle these clients so both you and the client experience a successful outcome?
  • Go to Models/Frameworks- What structure do you find the most impactful? Which ones do you use often and why? Bring an image of your model to share.

Come ready to share the answers to these questions so that we all benefit and up our game as Coaches.

Please register by Friday, September 28th, 2018, to reserve your spot. Don't miss this chance to expand your knowledge, connect with colleagues and discuss important trends in our industry!
