How to Achieve Accountability Without Tightening the Reins

Presented by:

Brad Scheller

Founder/Leadership Coach, PivotPoint Leaders

Location: Norwalk Public Library, 2nd floor, Carnegie Room

1 Belden Avenue, Norwalk CT 06850

PARKING: There is a small lot behind the building (first driveway on Mott, on right as you enter from corner of Belden and Mott.) There is also a parking garage across the street and around the corner, across from the Mall, behind the post office.

Our group's mission is to share best practices and explore trends and new approaches in the field of coaching within an organizational setting.

Coaches often get requests to improve accountability within an organization. When it is obvious that strategies are not being executed, finger-pointing is the norm, and value is left on the table. A coach can combine leadership and management to produce accountability. In this conversation, Brad Scheller will discuss how leaders can get results from their team without tough management. An approach that recognizes that performance improvement occurs, not by mandating compliance from staff, but by creating a strong culture where accountability is an outcome.

Speaker Bio:

Prior to forming PivotPoint Leaders in 2008, Brad Scheller began his career in the world of big-company technology with IBM, Unisys and CSC.  However, it wasn't until he was invited to join a technology start-up that his true calling emerged. Over the second part of his career, Brad helped six different entrepreneurial companies launch, scale, and at times successfully sell the business.
